Step through a window opening from the 'honeymoon suite' onto an alluring cushioned balcony, and you'll feel the world is yours for the asking. But this enticing haveli's five other rooms aren't lacking in swank either.
In the northern part of Jaisalmer Fort, Hotel Victoria offers rooms that immediately beckon, promising a soothing good time. They boast new, colourful bedspreads that add vibrancy to each sandstone-walled room. Each one, however, has its own unique persona: some have patterned rugs, while others feature tasteful art. Accompanying bathrooms are better than fair. If you need some air, you could do worse than climb the stairs to the roof. Look west, dear traveller, and if the timing is right, you can bet there's a truly magnificent sunset on the cards. Soak it up, and no pressure to hurry off - the hotel's comfortable elegance will tempt you to stay a while.
